Christmas is around the corner and I can see all the excitment in everyone's posts around the blogosphere! We all know Christmas most iconic colour has to be Red and since we all have different ways that we like to express that within our styles I decided to bring 3 different Red beauty products that we can use either together or on their own during the festive season. And a bonus is they're all affordable!!
The festive season is usually all about glitter and pops of red everywhere but not all of us enjoy such bold statements, and the social pressure can be there to make us wear that red lipstick we've got since 5 Christmas ago that we hate...
If this is the case, you can be glamorous and season appropriate by twisting the red and going for the mauves instead! With these 5 products you can create a stunning look that will be festive yet not on your face and is a safe playground for those who are less experienced.
Halloween is literally around the corner and if you're lacking inspiration for the dress up party just pop onto my last post for an easy yet fun look!
Season of the pumpkins also means season of the bold dark lips but since I'm that for all year around I decided it was more than fair to share my go to Halloween-y type of lipsticks!
NYX Cosmetics has a full range of Wicked Lippies which as the name suggest are very unique shades. I only own 3 of them and they sure are season appropriate!
Highlighters are all over the place now and even thou I have plenty for a lifetime I still manage to keep getting more and more in the hopes they're all different to one another.
Highlighting the inner corner might just be one of my favourite things in the world of makeup! I just love the effect it gives and as a colour lover I don't only use creams and whites!
Hopefully you'll be inspired to add up some colour to your inner corner as you know some of my favourite shadows to do so!
For the days I want pops of colour but don't have the patience to do a super elaborated eyeshadow look I opt for double winged liner! It's simple but looks stunning combined with a neutral look that contains elements of the same shade, in this case purples!
Despite my not so interesting poses to the camera I've been enjoying this full face makeup game! If you come around for a while you know I always put eye makeup up more frequently than any other thing which brought some of you to suggest more posts like this.
Highlighters are everywhere and even thou I don't own the amazing Champagne Pop or Soft & Gentle I still managed to grab a good variety of them that I love but... just wait for IMATS, something tells me I will come home with a few more...
From liquid to powder there's plenty of options, some more affordable than others, and for the most part differing in shade and intensity!
I managed to downsize to my favourites to 8, no judgments, I honestly love each one of these can't really skip any.
While I love bold eyeshadow looks I tend to experiment more with eyeliner only when wearing neutral colours which totally works, but makes me want to play a bit more with shadow and liner both in colourful ways!
Inspired by the stunning flame angelfish I stepped up my game with a blue liner on a warm orang-y cut crease!
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk - base
Inglot eyeshadow - 335 - transition shade
Inglot - 605 - crease & lower lash line
Too Faced Chocolate Bonbons Palette - Divinity - lid
Gosh Intense Eye Liner Pen - 06 Blue - eyeliner
Rimmel Scandeleyes Pencil - Nude - waterline
Rimmel Super Curler Mascara
The products I used are very simple, only two eyeshadows on the crease one of them being a brick tone orange (335) and the other a warm sparkly orange (605) which with a help of a pointy brush helped create the cut crease effect I was looking for and a nude all over the lid made that blue pop!
I hope you enjoyed this combination of shades and dare to experiment with warm and cool tones! I certainly will!

This is it, we can call the spending ban a failure for now. I can't live without buying makeup and that's a serious thing. But negativism aside, I managed to get my hands on some more NYX products, this time I've purchased them in store - finally Boots is starting to stock their products in store as well, even thou I had to go to central London to see that happen!
Nonetheless it was a great experience and I got home with a hand full of products!
You probably noticed I'm a bit obsessed with Duo Chrome shadows at the moment, I can't wait get more and create new looks with them!
This time I opted for a skin toned base opposing the black one I used a few weeks ago, and it turned out to be amazing!
Duo Chrome shadows are my everything at the moment! I love how they shift colours in a matter of light and how vibrant and sparkly they are! I've always wanted to try them in a dark cream base and since I got a few shadow sticks from Kiko, I went for this look.
Must say that I really went out after this look, and that's why the pictures look like taken in a rush, because they were. Apologies for that!

Out of nowhere here I am again with another haul, if you follow me on Twitter you know what I'm talking about... those midnight purchases I totally do by impulse after a long day at work!
To say this is not even the most recent one explains a lot about my obsession with beauty right?!
Without rambling too much I must say I'm obsessed with NYX and since we can finally get a hold of their products through Boots I go mad and buy everything I've always wanted to try!
As you may already know it's Valentines month, hurray, and I have to start my work at 4 in the morning because of that... yes that's how much people loves cake on that day! Still, forgetting the painful mornings I'm about to experience I managed to create some sort of looks, in previous days of course, to share with you how much I'm not keen on this event.
You first had a glimpse of a wearable look here where I used the Vintage Romance palette by Sleek as my inspiration! So today I bring you something different and daring, that you probably won't wear any time soon but can keep in mind for future halloween or carnival experiences!

Valentines month is here and for what I can see it's huge in the UK! We're already setting up for the big day at the bakery and even thou nothing beats Christmas I'm quite scared of the amount of orders we'll have to make!! Either way I was never a huge fan of this day, not really knowing what it is actually about, but since you all might enjoy it very much here's a wearable look I created for you!
Using the Vintage Romance palette by Sleek, and also one of my favourites of the range, I decided to go gold and bold this time!
Meet in Madrid is all over the lid followed by a combination of Marry in Monte Carlo, Honeymoon in Hollywood & Bliss in Barcelona on the crease! All of the 3 shades are also combined in the lower lash line! Forever in Florence is the shade I picked to give the crease a more defined look and my inner corner has a NYX Prismatic eyeshadow in Girl Talk, but if you want to keep it with just Sleek Pretty in Paris would do a good highlight as well!
As for the eyeliner I used the Gosh Velvet Touch Eyeliner in 021 Renaissance Gold to do my wing and on my waterline! Lash wise the Catrice Jet Lash Mascara was my pick! If you're good at falsies it is the perfect day to rock some romantic ones, I just can't get a hold of them so mascara does it for me!!

Let's keep it up with the hauls and finish the week with one of my favourite brands that finally is available at Boots UK!
NYX has always been appealing to me as most of the people in the beauty world just raves about their products, since I first saw them online I jumped at the opportunity to get everything Ive wanted to try for ages... this is not the first haul but the last one I did so let's see if it's worth all the attention!
One thing I know, there shouldn't exist a back up box... but it does! As surprising as it sounds it may only contain 1 or 2 back ups of products I'm using up and love, the rest is all different but still they will back up a finished mascara or concealer!
Today I decided to bring here what I have in my back up box and what you can expect for future reviews! I don't like to have too many of the same products open but when I get the chance to have a new mascara at a good deal why not? If it's not open it won't expire right?! If that's not a good excuse I can't see what it is so let's get into it!
Well, another lipstick post! Guess what... I've been obsessed with Fall Lipsticks lately, and as if it was not reason enough Boots also came up with NYX online!! I had to get my hands on 2 lip creams I've been wanting for the longest time!!
Where do I start? If you're looking for the perfect Fall shade you sure can find it here! From Urban Decay After Dark to Wet N Wild Cherry Bomb my Fall Lipstick wardrobe is full of burgundies, plums and violets!
A good highlight comes in many shapes, shades and textures and when it takes to my inner corners I like to play high! A strong inner corner makes any eyes pop and to achieve such awake look I go for any of these three different pens, or shall I say crayons!
Since I moved my makeup collection has grown quite a bit and I blame Boots and Superdrug deals! I can't help but everytime buy something new to try and always find great things! On the last few weeks I've been organising my makeup collection as I bought a new drawer set from Ikea and found amazing products I haven't given so much love on the few months!
On an attempt to change that I decided to give these products a spotlight and show myself I'm missing out on leaving them behind! And sure tell you all why they're good buys!
