A NYX finally opened in a shopping centre near me, literally 30min walk which is a dangerous thing! On the day of opening I was feeling miserable with a cold but decided makeup shopping would fix that for me and off I went! The store is huge has every single product NYX does and is a delight to wander around! 

I could not leave without a few things I had on my wishlist for absolute ages but never wanted to place an online order for them! 

A little haul coming its way! I must state I went crazy on Black Friday and spent way more than I want to admit so I'll probably be reporting all of it soon since I'm still waiting for a few parcels to arrive!

Illamasqua had to be on my list of websites to visit as their sales are always so good! They had up to 75% off a lot of things and 25% sitewide. As I personally have a professional discount with the brand I didn't go as crazy this time of the year of the exception of some good bargains. 

Recently I've visited Wilko in the hopes I would find outstanding home decor (and by that I mean Halloween for some, regular home decor for myself) and stopped by the Essence counter... I came out with 25£ worth of products that I surely didn't need but wanted to try... so here's the summary of what I'm adding to my collection!

On one of my recent trips to Kiko I went all nuts over their eye products, as per usual! I definitely wanted to haul them at some point and even thou the shade range is rather interesting I found the shades I selected are quite transitional for in between seasons. 

I've been tempted to go to Inglot for the longest time and I'm so glad I went recently! They had so many new exciting launches but I tried to contain my excitement and only get a few things!

So it happens that I rarely go into a Boots or Superdrug now as I don't have one close to my workplace, besides that I work in a beauty shop myself, last thing I want to do after work is go inside another dangerous place for beauty addicts like me!

Since my supply of cotton pads was about to see an end I sure needed a good trip to Boots and this happened... You know when you have every single make-up that you could ever need in high end quality and you still feel the need to try what's new at the drugstore feeling? Yeah... I can pat myself on the back for not bringing half of the shop home!

If you've read my Life Update post you already know I have a second job in the beauty industry, which can become dangerous for my wallet... am I right?!

This Christmas I decided to treat myself to a few things I've wanted to try for the longest time and this was the result!

Long time no see, I know, shall I even mention?! Who knows in an upcoming post I write a life update. Onto new and exciting beauty stuff! Essence! You know this was the first brand being featured on the blog and many years before I used it non stop. Quality definitely improved and the trends are being followed, as expected!

I know I know, I'm yet to share my experience on my make-up course and it will come soon, but meanwhile you can always take a peek on what I got for my SFX experiments at home!

Nail polishes, long time no see! Finally I'm not working full time on the bakery and can rock my long colourful nails for the most part of the week! It sounds a bit irrelevant but I've always liked to do my nails and be creative with them, one of the first posts was actually a nail art, which unfortunately I had to stop improving as my pastry course started. For health and safety reasons we can't have long nails let alone with chemicals on top. Since I'm just working part time there from now on I can do my nails on the days off which made me get so excited I bought tons o new polishes.

Sleek Makeup is hands down one of my favourite brands at the drugstore! Packaging always on point but for the matters, quality is amazing for the price! 

My first ever Sleek product was an eyeshadow palette that I got at Sephora Portugal back in 2012?! Probably before! It's the Storm palette that I use till today and love!

So, it happened... a dream came true last Saturday! I couldn't ask for better company, a long time friend that I can call a sister, who shares the same passion for makeup and for the longest time the same dream of going to IMATS one day!

I went and I spent all day there... 7:30am I was in the queue and left at 5pm when it was closing down. I had the time of my life, saw one of my all time favourite makeup artists perform - Alex Box -  and of course got loads of makeup! That I'm sure is what brings you here today!!!

Out of nowhere here I am again with another haul, if you follow me on Twitter you know what I'm talking about... those midnight purchases I totally do by impulse after a long day at work!

To say this is not even the most recent one explains a lot about my obsession with beauty right?! 

Without rambling too much I must say I'm obsessed with NYX and since we can finally get a hold of their products through Boots I go mad and buy everything I've always wanted to try! 

I must say it's extremely cold outside, I decided to visit Starbucks for a session of blogging as when I stay at home I can't do anything really... With my peppermint tea to warm me up I must start with an adventurous haul at Inglot this week!

I've been obsessed with Inglot for a long time now but I mostly go for their eyeshadows and eyeliners other than anything else, to say they were one of the first companies coming out with the freedom system might be revolutionary but also impressive! I've always loved the freedom of choosing whatever I want for me in a palette so this time I went for things I never tried before from the brand. 

A blush and a contour powder - that gave me already too much head ache in a way - a brow gel in order to know whether I should go fot the Anastasia one or not, and finally a lipstick in pencil form as for the normal bullet ones I didn't seem to get along with any shade! 

Finally I got me one of the Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner in Hustle 4, I've used it once so far and love it to give extra glow to my inner corners!

Out of Boots and in Superdrug territory I went for the Gosh Intense Eyeliner Pen in Grey and Blue, both colours super pigmented and very different from what I already own! The Grey is to die for, I love it so much, the Blue is between an electric and a navy shade, it's definitely a gorgeous option not to talk about the tip of the pen, it's thin and flexible super easy to use! I would definitely recommend it if you love pen eyeliners, they have more shades in the line such as the classic black or a brown!

Last but not least, a quick visit to Wilko made me come home with two more of the Essence Long Lasting Pencils in the shades 09 Cool Down - a true blue that I love for my waterline - 12 I Have A Green - a shimmery forest green that looks lovely with a soft brown eyeshadow look! I've been loving these Essence pencils for as long as I started wearing makeup and their black one is my favourite for the waterline as it stays put and is super pigmented!

I was super curious to try their One Heck Of A Blot powder and finally got it with this great excuse, I'm yet to find courage to hit my brush on it but something tells me I'm gonna love it once I do! 

If you've been reading british blogs for a while you sure heard about their Archery Brow Pencil that I can say is hands down my favourite! It gives a super natural yet full brow look and the spoolie at the end helps on the blending process! 

Since the purchase was above the 15£ mark I got the super adorable box with the Thick & Fast mascara, Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in a super festive red that comes out very much like a lip balm perfect for the winter cold, and lastly it comes with a Love At First Blush that is to die for!

The set is worth 25£ which is a very good deal that could give an amazing stocking filler or a way for you to try S&G makeup if you haven't already!
