Hey hey hey!!

I know what you're thinking... Montly favorites already?! Yes.. it looks like April flew by!

It's not new that i cant change my makeup dramatically so it keeps me from using a lot of different products on daily basis... Yet i won't give up creating some different looks for you ;)

April makeup was basically foundation, powder, brow pencil, eyeliner and mascara!

Since it was Easter this month i had the chance to use a lipstick that i'm in love with!

The lipstick i mentioned is Essence Long Lasting Lipstick in 01 Coral Calling, a gorgeous pink coral that screams Spring all over it!

If you saw March favorites you recognize the mascara, the powder and the brow pencil! They're staples to me,I use them everyday ... I think i don't need to tell more about them, i just love them.

Simple as that!

  

My favorite foundation at the moment is the Lancome Photogenic Lumessence, it's great, it's a dewy finish and lasts all day!

  

The 2 eyeshadows i've been loving are both from Kiko and one is the colour sphere range on the shade 02 and the other is the regular line no 121! The first one is an almond parkly shade and the other is a soft light matte brown. I used these two the most this month! The sparkly on the inner corner and the matte brown i used mostly in my eyelid... You're probably asking what did i use on the crease but i just switched up so many colours that i hadn't a specific one to share with you as my favorite.

Eyeliners... oh my! Have such hard time finding the good ones... I know i know the gel liner from Kiko i just bought 2 weeks ago but i feel the need to share it with you! This eyeliner is amazing!! It's matte, longlasting, and super black! I adore it and it's the only one i wear since i have it!

Catrice is also a raved brand in my blog and these eyeliners are no exception.. The black one is amazing and lasts loads of time such as the nude one! You have to try them if you have the opportunity!

Affordable and amazing are melody to my ears!

Starting with duos! Duos are smaller palettes that carry 2 eyeshadows (don't you say!! - i know it's obvious). Usually duos are great for quicker looks.. i used to use them a lot in my high school years!

Nowadays the only one i use more is the Catrice neutral duo, that brown is amazing and the bone colour such perfect to highlight the browbone.

Other kind of palettes are trios and quads!

I bought this Gosh eyeshadow on sales i use a lot the red and the purple one, pink is not my thing...

Kiko launched a freedom system palette for eyeshadows last summer and this palette has a special meaning to me 'cause the eyeshadows were picked by my boyfriend. I have 4 eyeshadows but unfortunately one of them broke and i have it in a drawer quiet so it doesn't spread all over my makeup bag.

The quality as always is great! The palette itself retails for 4,90€ and each eyeshadow is the same price! You can find everything about it on their site!

This one.. oh Wet n Wild... so cheap, so good... 

As you can see i already hitted pan on that lavender eyeshadow, these fall out like nobodys business but  the quality is amazing, the colour pay off the durability of the shadow! There's no words to describe it and i highly recommend it for anyone who's starting and doesn't want to spend a lot of money yet have good quality eyeshadows!

Sleek is a well-known brand for their quality and affordable price!  

i-Divine palettes are composed by 12 eyeshadows and retails for 9,99€ which is less than 1€ per eyeshadow! 

They're black, slim, the ammount of eyeshadow is good and the colour pay off is wonderful!

I only have this one but i love it!

ELF as you may know is an affordable brand that sells some amazing products! This palette is one of them! It's a 32 eyeshadow palette and i got it from America so i don't know if it is selled on their website since i got it last summer.. 

I hope they do 'cause this one is so pigmented! And the eyeshadows stay in place all day long ! I love the colours in these and my favorite are the nude ones, so many to choose that sometimes its hard to pick only one!

As you can see i'm fan of green nailpolishes! honestly i prefer the darker ones but it's handy to have lighter ones too when creating some nail art!

Purple is one of my favorite colours no matter what!

Since nail art is not only drawing in nails you of course heard about this caviar nail trend! To be honest i never tried them! What a shame!

These are beautiful on the bottle but i'm not so sure of their effectiveness! We'll see someday in the future i hope!

There are many other different effects but since this is my collection i'm only showing what i have!

For a girl that can't wear nailpolish i have a huge collection... keep in mind that i've been collecting these nailpolishes for 3 and half years now so it's not like i've bought them all at once ;)

Huuummmmnnnn, smells good?! 

I know, i know... Perfumes are essential in women's life... not that we can't live without them but you know they give us confidence!

The other day i was at bloglovin and i found this perfume tag, decided to do it straight away!

I love perfumes and i have a few on my vanity but i don't use them everyday, i'm a bit lazy! Yet i think they add a nice touch to every occasion and they can be our signature!  

1. What was the first perfume you ever purchased?

The first perfume i bought myself was the One Direction dupe at Equivalenza! May seem weird that it was so recently but i may just say that my godmother always gift me with perfumes whenever she comes to Portugal (she lives in France). That's why i never had that necessity of buying a perfume for myself. She's a great perfume picker! I love every single one!  

2. What's your signature perfume?

I don't think i have one, but two years ago was Black XS by Paco Rabanne and now is probably Scarlett by Cacharel!  

3. What's your most recent perfume purchase?

As i said, its Our Moment dupe at Equivalenza. Its not a perfect dupe but is identical and it smells really good! 

4. What perfume would you wear at night time/date night?

Black XS by Paco Rabanne, i find this perfume quite seductive..

5. What's your favorite spring/summer perfume?

Scarlett by Cacharel and Lady Rebel by Mango. Fresh scents that spreads happiness and freedom.. 

6. What's your favorite fall/winter perfume?

Halloween by J. del Pozo and Black XS by Paco Rabanne. Both are very different scents but i find myself using them more at the winter time.

7. What's your favorite scent category? (fruity, floral, fresh, oriental, woody)

Floral, woody and musk..   

8. What perfume are you currently lusting after?

I'm excited to smell the limited edition by One Direction 'That Moment', it will arrive at May 15th in Portugal I can't wait! If it smells good i'll buy it fer sure! 

9. What fragrance/cologne do you like on your significant other?

I like Hugo Boss perfumes.. but to be honest i'm not a huge fan of male perfume.. i think i haven't find the perfect scent!

As i mentioned, recently i had a situation... you see that blue mascara over there? I have it since August 2013 which makes 8 months approximatedly.. the longevity of mascaras is between 3 and 6 months max! I have mascaras that i bought years ago.. you're probably thinking 'uh so gross' but i may assure you they're fine..

I'm trowing that mascara away now 'cause i had some symptoms.. i started having itchy eyes, i got a pimple underneath and that thing hurts a lot! I just assume its mascara expiring since i only used that one at the time those symptoms appeared. I don't mean you have to trow your mascara away at the first time you get itchy eyes i had those symptoms more than once while using it.

Now, the longevity of mascaras depends on the times you use it.. if you wear it often it will expire quickly rather than if you only wear it sometimes.. i know that for a fact and this one is the proof. At the time i bought it i used it 5 or 6 times just recently i started using it more, for the past 2/3 months and that's why it got all unwearable.. Sometimes the product dries which i find easier to get rid off but the other times it just gets tainted, i may say?!

It's not easy to trow something away that still has product but you have to think on the side effects, if it gives you issues you can't keep on using it!

Eyes are a very sensitive part of our body, we need to take care of them and be careful about the products we use! It's highly recomended to trow away old mascaras, old eyeliners and things that might contact directly with your eyes.

I hope this post alerts you for the danger of having old mascaras and it inspires you to take a look into your mascara collection and tell goodbye to the old ones :)

 Good morning beauties of my world!!!

Is everything fine?! I hope so!!

As you can say for the title i discovered a nude combo that makes me wanna wear nude lips all the time.. 

I'm a girl of extremes! I like pale colours or dark colours and nude lips are my favorite to wear on daily basis!

As you can see it from my lips it doesn't wash me out and it suits my skin tone!

My excitment doesn't allow me to say much about the wonders of this lip combo, but you can see it yourself!

Any suggestions for another combos?! Let me know bellow!

If you read my last haul post you know that i bought a gel eyeliner for 4,90€ which was in sales.. this time i bought a liquid eyeliner for 3,90€ also in sales! I have another liquid liners to finish and then i'll start use this one! It seems to have great quality and its a true black colour.

Mascaras... i still have 2 black mascaras to try but i saw this one and i got intrigued its a Curling Top Coat Mascara ..

False Lashes Concentrate was 3,90€ also in sales which i may say its an amazing deal!!  I hope it does a great job and i'm curious to see what's the difference to the normal ones..  

Kiko Smart Lip Pencil is new to my collection, i have the Eye Smart Pencils and i love them so i decided to try one of their lip range.. It's a violet colour which i don't have in my lip pencil collection and for 2,50€ you can't go wrong!  

Kiko launched a new lipstick range recently called Unlimited Stylo and they claim to be no-transfer "semi-matte finish with high performance application" which i can confirm!! This lipstick is insanely pigmented, i'm not joking! If you have the chance i advise you to pick one! or more ;) the price is super affordable - 6,90€ and the colour range is also good! 14 shades with pearly and non-pearly finish.. nudes, pinks, corals, reds, to everyones taste!

One swipe of the lipstick, i'm not even joking! The colour is burgundy but it always shows as red (sadly) the number is 012.

The lip pencil has a beautiful and also pigmented colour..715 Periwinkle Violet

The Precision eyeliner is a true black and has a felt tip which i find easy to use!

To beggin with, Equivalenza is a brand that makes dupes of well-known Perfumes!

I heard about it long time ago and had the curiosity to try some of their products!

Since 'Our Moment' by One Direction is a scent i enjoy i decided to pick that one up as first choice.. 

The scent I notice it's a bit more alchoolic at first but then it smells like a regular perfume.

In this case, my house mate has the original 'Our Moment' and we compared both.. we figured out that the original is more warm but in my point of view both are amazingly similar.

I don't regret buying it for the fact that i love the smell it gives and its nothing to do with One Direction particularly, i would never buy a perfume if i didn't like it!

Their price range is really affordable:

30 ml ~9€

50 ml ~16€

100 ml ~22€

As you can see the biggest bottle is even more affordable than an original mini size one... You get what i mean!

It worths the money, and i definitely recommend you enter one of their stores and try their perfumes and see if you like any.

 Lipbalms are made to moisturize and relive chapped or dry lips. There's different packages, such as tubes and pots, different colours, clear, reds, nudes, pinks... different textures and different flavours!

Personally i find tubes more handy for the day time, when we're out and feel our lips drying a swipe or two and we're good..  

Pots are a good option for night time since they're more moisturizing than sticks.. they can act trhought the night and you don't have to be worried about your hair being glued to your lips if you tie it up!

As you can see i have 4 lipbalms:

Maybeline Babylips - Cherry Me (red) ; Peach Kiss (nude) 

Lipsmacker Coca Cola Cherry (red)

Mango Lip Balm (orange)

Lipbalms are usually cheap so you can get one easily for not too much.. Since there are many brands doing them you can always look for reviews and try to find one that suits you better.. but there's not much to suit after all they do the same..

In this case you have the smell, texture and flavor to choose, not everyone likes the same which is absolutely fine!
There's also lipbalms with SPF and i have one that i don't show on the picture above, it has SPF 50 and i find it too creamy and gives a white tone to my lips, although seems to work fine and it's also good to protect our lips from the UV rays.

When it takes to it's mission i can say that they seem equally.. 

My favorite for day time is the Smaker one and night time the Mango one.

Babylips are good but i don't find they moisture my lips as much as the other 2.. Since our lips are different i can't really tell if you'll like the same as me but i can tell that is a lot o people out there that loves them.

After all we conclude that lipbalms are important whether you wear or not makeup on daily basis, its like a moisturizer, it's necessary to make your lips feel good!

Any suggestions of lipbalms are accepted!!

Why skincare is so important?!

Here i am, seatting on my couch after moisturizing my skin.. Its a long story, well let's just resume it..

For years i hadn't use any face cream and how i regret it so much! I started struggling with acne 5 years ago and since then i'm better yet not free.

I went to a dermatologist and followed the routine for 3 years and after that i noticed that i had to go again. That time i went to another dermatologist and i may say that i'm not a good follower of her tips..

Anyway.. onto the thing that really matters, first of all you shall cleanse your face twice a day at least, in the morning before applying anything else to your skin and at night before going to bed..

And you're asking why's that so important?

Well it is in the morning 'cause it cleanses any residue that might be in your face and helps your moisturizer to absorve better and one important fact if you wear makeup : it helps to achieve a flawless look!

At night its important to clean your face even if you hadn't use any makeup 'cause nowadays the pollution is getting bigger and it stucks to your skin (gross hun?)..

I just gave you 2 good reasons to cleanse your face and you're still lazy?! What if i tell you that it makes you feel better?! And gives you freshness and motivation to acomplish your goals throught the day!

Let me just tell you that since i cleanse and moisture my face 2 times daily my skin has less flaws and my makeup looks improved! I feel it has less residues and it breathes better!

I don't usually do face masks but at some times i like to do them. I'm trying to find one face mask that makes my pores look smaller, any suggestion?! 

Once per month i use pore strips! (which i'll make a post about soon) They help you to get rid of the 'dirt' that gets into your pores!

This is not a skincare routine post so i won't extend my thoughts on this, i just wanna make you realize how important it is to treat your skin right and how it differs in your daily struggles with acne.
