Soap & Glory is a brand I haven't explored much but the things I own I love! In order to celebrate the brand individuality I decided to put together a post where I share my favourites from the brand to achieve the Summer Glow! (not sponsored, every product was bought with my own money)
This is it, we can call the spending ban a failure for now. I can't live without buying makeup and that's a serious thing. But negativism aside, I managed to get my hands on some more NYX products, this time I've purchased them in store - finally Boots is starting to stock their products in store as well, even thou I had to go to central London to see that happen!
Nonetheless it was a great experience and I got home with a hand full of products!
Blushed cheeks make all the difference, no matter the season or occasion, a little bit of rosy powder will bring any complexion to life.
One thing I've been loving lately is how versatile a blush colour can be, and even thou I own quite a few in my collection, I find the ones with multicolour are the best for the approaching season.

Brow Power!
Brows are known for being the frame of the face, and I couldn't agree more with that! Whenever I don't wear makeup I totally notice a difference and if I just add a bit of brow gel here and there it makes me feel so much more like myself!
I've been trying a few brow products for the past years and I came to conclusion that I found my favourites, all different formulas and brands but I honestly don't want to pick just one between the four!
Working with food means no makeup, which is totally right but when the time comes and after work I want to go somewhere I certainly want to look my best.
Giving some luminosity to my skin is now easy with the Bourjois City Radiance Foundation with SPF 30! This handy tube of wonder is the perfect base for an after work makeup, it gives me light coverage which can be built to a medium, it is moisturizing but not too much to the point I get oily in a hour and it also gives the most beautiful dewy finish! I love the fact it applies really well with my fingers sparing the space of a brush for the matter!
Out of nowhere here I am again with another haul, if you follow me on Twitter you know what I'm talking about... those midnight purchases I totally do by impulse after a long day at work!
To say this is not even the most recent one explains a lot about my obsession with beauty right?!
Without rambling too much I must say I'm obsessed with NYX and since we can finally get a hold of their products through Boots I go mad and buy everything I've always wanted to try!
Gift guides were never a thing in Mary Bloomy but this year I decided to give it a shot and well, I think you can take some good ideas for your beauty addicts on the list! Today I'm talking about what I think will do great gifts to the makeup addicts out there and will soon talk about Skincare and more!
Soap & Glory is well known by its body care offers and iconic smell that I am a fan of, but they also provide us with makeup options that can entirely change our viewing of the brand!
Boots has its deals on for the month of December one including a 3 S&G makeup set when you buy 15£ of their makeup range!
I was super curious to try their One Heck Of A Blot powder and finally got it with this great excuse, I'm yet to find courage to hit my brush on it but something tells me I'm gonna love it once I do!
If you've been reading british blogs for a while you sure heard about their Archery Brow Pencil that I can say is hands down my favourite! It gives a super natural yet full brow look and the spoolie at the end helps on the blending process!
Since the purchase was above the 15£ mark I got the super adorable box with the Thick & Fast mascara, Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in a super festive red that comes out very much like a lip balm perfect for the winter cold, and lastly it comes with a Love At First Blush that is to die for!
The set is worth 25£ which is a very good deal that could give an amazing stocking filler or a way for you to try S&G makeup if you haven't already!
Tell me all about your favourite Soap & Glory makeup products!
Hello beauties,
Sun shines out there and a bit of bronzer does wonders to a bare face..
Obviously you can use bronzer any season, any time.. it's up to you..
I usually use bronzer to complete my makeup if i'm following every step or if i want to go out but i don't have much time still want my face defined..
(L-t) Soap & Glory ; Sephora ; Catrice
I have 3 bronzers at the moment, and every single one of them is amazing..
Soap & Glory is a British brand that can't be found in Portugal .. So i had to ask my boyfriend to bring this bronzer to me from the UK and so he did.. (lovely isn't he?)
It's my favorite bronzer of them all and it's because it has 2 colours, a darker and a lighter one.. it has shimmer but so sublte that i can't notice on my skin.. Most of the times i mix the colours and i'm fine with it!
Sephora Solar Powder is a great product as well, really pigmented and the shade is stunning.
It's the lightest shade of this range and so it suits my skin really well, it's prefectly buildable if i want a heavier look! With a light hand you can use it on pale skins.. It's not orangie at all and i like the softness of the product.
Catrice Bronzing Powder is a bit too dark although it doesn't seem to.. It's affordable and good quality product still prefer to use it at summer where my skin is taned and it looks more natural...
It's a completly matt product and you don't need too much product to make it appear on your skin,
i love this product!
1 - Soap & Glory Solar Powder - Mix & Match Multi Shade Bronzer - 11£
2 - Sephora Poudre de Soleil in Clair 1 - 15€
3 - Catrice Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder - 5€
As you can see they differ in shades and price! The quality is good on the 3 but as i mentioned my favorite is Soap & Glory.
I think they're great options for light skin tones (not pale) and i recommend every single one of this! Is up to you to chose which one you prefer the texture when swatching it on the store ;)

Hey beauties!!
There's times we need a pop of colour in our life and nothing better than to apply it in our makeup!
Not all of us feel confident using bright colours yet we can use the colours in subtle ways..
I love to pair neutral eyeshadows with bright waterlines, although not every colour goes right with it..
Some of my favorite colours to pair are blues, purples and greens.. since my eyes are brown it complements them and makes them pop a little bit more..
To create this look i used as base the Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 200 Nude and to correct my under eye circles i used Kiko 3d lifting concealer 01 light .
As i have oily skin and i want to sett all my makeup i use Catrice All Matt Plus Powder, and to give some definition to my cheekbones i often use my favorite bronzer - Soap & Glory Solar Powder.
As every face is framed by its eyebrows i used my Catrice Eyebrow Stylist in 020 Date with Ash-ton.
To create this look i used a light taupe brown shade, Kiko Makeup Milano Eyeshadow in 121, all over my eye lid and to add some definition used some darker browns.
On the crease and upwards i used Kiko Makeup Milano Eyeshadow in 123 (medium tone brown with shimmer) and to deepen the outter part of my eyelid i used Catrice Absolute Eye Colour 070 Double Espresso Macchiato, Please! (the dark brown colour)
The pop of colour in this look, as you can see, is given in the waterline by my Kiko Makeup Milano Smart Eye Pencil in 813 Aquamarine
To complete the look and give it more emphasis i used Essence Get Big Lashes Triple Black mascara, it gives volume plus lenght!
A look is only completed when it has lipstick!
My choice for this look was Avon Lipstick in Mirage, it's a mauve pink that goes well with everything!
I hope you like this look and take some inspiration for your next time wearing some colour! Dare yourself to wear some bright colours not only in clothes but also in makeup! It makes lot of difference ;)
