I have this book called 'The Makeup Artist Handbook' and I find it very useful since I'm trying to get more into the Makeup Artist World.
I waited so much to have it in hands that I decided to share it with you and give you all some little lessons it teaches!

The first theme is Shapes. Shapes are a base, as the paper is to the pencil, our face is to makeup. It's important to understand the face shapes in general and particular.

"There are five basic face shapes that are used most often, Many people have a combination of face shapes. Face shapes can be used as a guide, but would also determine where to place shadows and highlights according to what makeup look you are creating."







Square Face 

Large face, straight hairline, square chin, and cheekbones not particularly prominent.

Do you remember how you developed a love for reading?

I was never a girl of books, i used to want to read a lot but never made it until a day where i found a book that made me fell.. So 3 years ago i was at 10th grade and my close friends were, and still are, book eaters.. So i got influenced by their passion and started looking for some books to read.. I remember to find a book and read the back cover and completely fall in love with it...
I bought it after a few months and since then.. my love for reading was born. The fun fact is that it stills my favorite book (and trilogy).

Where do you usually read?

I love to read in bed but also when i'm at school if there's nothing more interesting to do i'll read a good fanfiction on my tablet..

 
Do you prefer to read one book at a time or several at once?

I honestly prefer to read a book or series of books at a time but it's impossible, i can't be months or years without reading anything.. so i have to say that i read several at once..


What is your favorite genre?  

Fantasy i have to say, since Patrick Rothfuss is my favorite writer of all time and i can't live in a world without his books!
I also love horror from Edgar Allan Poe and the classics Dracula, Frankenstein, etc..
Fanfiction became another favorite genre to read..



Is there a genre you will not read?

I can't say that i won't ready a genre.. but i don't fall for politics and religion books.. I don't know I'm not that into those themes..


Do you have a favorite book?

Of course!! It's not only 1 Book but most like 3 Books. Patrick Rothfuss The Kingkiller Chronicle.. Just the best books ever i can't even breathe correctly when i start talking about them.. Such aww..


What is your least favorite book?

I can't say that i have a least favorite book i simply can't read a book until the end if it's not interesting..


What is the longest book you ever read?

Easy one.. my favorite trilogy in fact! Patrick Rothfuss - Wise Man's Fear (Portuguese edition) 1392 pages ... So yeah... it's devided in 2 books.. ohh my.. can't wait for the 3rd book to come out!


What was the last book you bougth?

Actually i bought 2 books last time i went on a library ! 'Vampires The terrible lost diary of Dr Corn-elius Van Helsing' and 'Jack the Ripper'




Do you prefer library books or buying books?

I prefer library books.. there's no comparisson... Books are something that i can't live without.. i need to have something to grab every once in a while.. Lucky me that i didn't read all the books i own due to my lack of time so i always have something good to read..
To read online is easier since i have my tablet but still prefer real books!


What are you currently reading?

I'm currentlu reading some books:

Gothic Charm School by Jullian Venters
Uncle Montague Tales of Terror by Chris Priestley
Changes by Wallflower Power (fanficiton)


Where do you buy your books?

Usually Bertrand is my go to book shop but recently discovered an independent library near my school where i shopped the last 2 books mentioned before..


Do you ever pre-order your books?

Never pre-ordered anything actually but i find it interesting ..

How many books do you buy a month?

I don't know exactly, i'm not a huge book buyer.. i'm a picky reader so i only buy a book if i feel love for it .. it's not that usual to fall in love with a book..


How do you feel about second hand charity shop books?

The idea is amazing but as i said i only buy a book when i feel love for it so i won't give them to anybody.. but still think it's a great way to make good books pass into others without the huge price we sometimes are subjected to. (if this makes any sense)

Do you keep your read and to-be-read books together?

Yes, i don't have that many so it's easy to remember which ones i read and i didn't.




Do you plan to read all the books you own?

In my house there's a lot of books that were given to me and some of them are not that interesting.. so i won't read them all.. but the books that i bought with my own money are precious and obviously i'm going to read them all..

What do you do with books you own that you know won't be re-read?  

I don't know.. i just keep them in the shelf and look at them satisfied.

If i donated books before i just can't remember :/

Have you ever been on a book buying ban?

Actually no.. 

Do you think you own too many books?

Not at all, every single book i own i love and take care, it's not a huge collection at all.. I have around 20 books..

todays post is not about beauty, but i'm sure you'll find it usefull as long as you like the subject!

So here's what i've been watching for the past week:
 Rozen Maiden is an anime that i was curious about before but only last week had the courage to watch an episode, well i watched 3 ... It's different from the animes i'm used to, not so differect actually, but anyway, it's about dolls that persuade humans to be their slaves.. With that, the human transfers energy to the doll so it can face the enemies.. Its weird to tell the whole story since i only watched 3 episodes but it was what i've kept from it..
I've been liking it and i find the dolls so cute... If you like anime you should definitely check this out ;)


As you may know i read, not a lot because i'm quite peculiar with my readings but here's one confession... i read fanfics... about 1D. I'm not ashamed of that, i quite like the way some girls out there write stories about the boys.. It's not for the boys it's for the story itself..
So, i had such long time without reading fics, but last week found one that's really cool.

As you can see for the title it's about Zayn Malik but of course all the boys appear.. I'm not going to tell the story so you have to read it but i assure you that it's really easy to read... You should definitely check it out!


So here's a little update and recommendations of what i'm watching and reading at the moment!

Good morning sweethearts!

Recently i went shopping and other things... So i have 2 different categories to show you and 2 different trips to tell you..
I'm going to start with my beauty haul:


I was in need of face masks since i don't use one for the longest time.. i went to claire's and bought 3 .. for my own disappointment when i arrived home i saw that one of them was open and had messed the bag.. went to garbage :( my luck was that i didn't pay for it since there was a sale section where you buy 3 you pay 2.. so not wasted money but not lucky opportunity.. (1.95€ each)

Moving on.. My moisturizer was over one day ago and that was driving my skin crazy, i went to a pharmacy that also sells makeup and of course i had to pick something new.. the Catrice Eyebrow lifter is from their spring collection and i decided to give it a go.. it cost me less than 4€..

The all purpose of this shopping trip was my moisturizer so of course i picked up one.. and it's new in my routine.. Bioderma Sébium Global it's meant for oily and acne prone skin ... perfect to me. it cost me ~15€


Now onto the books...

My school is beside a castle and a church that's not meant for the cult of religion but as a library.. For my own enjoyment i spent there a good amout of time searching on the books they had and i was really happy with my finds...

To start of i saw this book called 'Jack the Ripper' and of course i had to buy it for 3€ i couldn't find better!
Then i was catched by this one called Vampiros in english is 'Vampires The terrible lost diary of Dr Corn-elius Van Helsing' it's about the story of vampires and werewolves, it's an ilustrated and animated book.  Less than 5€. Bargain!!

As you can see i'm a lover for Edgar Allan Poe since i have that large book and 3 more
I also have Dracula, Frankenstein, Gothic Charm School, Frankenweenie and some more related to the gothish style.
My most beloved series is the large one, that's called the The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss. The chronicle isn't finished yet since we only have 2 of the 3 books, but there's some zum zum about the 3rd book coming soon.. I can't wait !

Hey sweethearts!
I've been a little busy lately so i decided to do another post on the same day since i have some time now :)

I'm waiting for my bus to come, i'm going home for Christmas! can't wait to make some delicious cakes and cookies and traditional deserts... and yes i'll make an effort to post photos about my Christmas table here!

Books Books Books... when i love i f*cking love for real..

As you can tell i'm a bit gothish if this word even exists... i don't actually consider myself a goth but still love their culture and books are one of those things i love from them...

I have a collection of Edgar Allan Poe books, already did a post about them  ;)
I also love fantastic books, such as Patrick Rothfuss ones... i can't even tell you how i love this man! He's such a talented writer!!
Anyway... yesterday i was searching on the internet some books, i can't even remember how i get to this one...

I don't have anything else to say about it...
 Maybe one day i'll start a Poe's poem/tale day ... we'll see ^.^
