Christmas is around the corner and I can see all the excitment in everyone's posts around the blogosphere! We all know Christmas most iconic colour has to be Red and since we all have different ways that we like to express that within our styles I decided to bring 3 different Red beauty products that we can use either together or on their own during the festive season. And a bonus is they're all affordable!!
Blushed cheeks make all the difference, no matter the season or occasion, a little bit of rosy powder will bring any complexion to life.
One thing I've been loving lately is how versatile a blush colour can be, and even thou I own quite a few in my collection, I find the ones with multicolour are the best for the approaching season.
Oh Blush!! I still remember the days I spent browsing through Debenhams website looking out for you, and you never showed up!
But then, I met you at Sephora... you were the only one there, it was destiny!
Oh! Here's a mini story of my hunt for this beauty, it was a hard one but I found it... in Portugal! Yes, had to go that far to put my hands on it! It was so worth it, I even had discount for being Sephora member... so I can only say it was meant to be!
A new series has begun, or not! Who knows! Back in the day blush was a no for me and lipstick was meh! Now looks like my lipstick obsession started alongside blush!
In a look through my collection I found that two of my favourite products actually match and create a very beautiful look together suitable for day and night!
Both by Kiko Makeup Milano, my ultimate favourite lipstick Unlimited Stylo (6,90£) in 13 Cocoa paired with the Soft Touch Blush (7,50£) in 112 Light Plum makes the overall look flawless! No jokes here!
Both shades are very similar and long lasting with a matte finish! That lipstick goes nowhere and the blush stays put throughout the day! It's super pigmented so be light handed when applying it! This muted mauve pink shade suits my taste like no other and I can't stop wearing it now! Looks like I found the holy grails for this Fall! Any skin tone can pull this off if I'm being fair, as they're both very universal shades suitable for the fairest or darkest of them all!
When using both in conjunction I find gold eyelids bring them to another level, but it's just personal preference!
How would you pair this duo?

Catrice Illuminating Blush 030 Kiss Me Ken
I am a total matte junkie, matte shadows matte lips matte everything so I quite surprised myself by picking this blush when in Portugal! Catrice is well loved and you heard me rave about their products countless times so no wonder this blush has a spotlight.
Blushing cheeks looks gorgeous on everyone don't you agree?! I personally love to see when someone naturally blushes! For the past year I avoided blush as much as I could for fear of looking like a clown, for fear of doing it wrong. But 2015 is a different year and I'm opened to try different shades, textures and brands!
What a way to start summer... the weather is definitely not helping but I know it will change!
I'm never a girl of seasonal looks I just wear whatever I want in that moment but I got inspired by a ray of solar power and here's my summer look!
Bright colours are my favorite to wear in more sunny days and so that I decided to go for an orange and blue look! I really enjoy this combination and I think it turned out really well!
I recently decided to start my look from out and by this I mean I start from the crease to the inner corner! So I added a matte dark brown mixed with a caramel brown to deepen and create some dimension. All over the lid I applied a coral colour that's actually a blush! Always learning new things ;)
The eyeliner is as usual a cat flick and on my under lash line I decided to go with a sparkly blue!
The products I used:
Sleek Palette in Storm - Both Matte Brown colors - on the crease
Catrice Blush in 050 Apricot Smoothie - all over the lid
Kiko Makeup Milano Eyeshadow in 162 - under lash line
Kiko Makeup Milano Gel liner
Catrice Eyebrow Lifter - waterline
Ooops I guess I forgot to apply mascara!!! Happens at least once in a lifetime so here's my fault for you to see ;)
It's a simple eye look full of colour and brightness!

Good evening beauty lovers,
Spring is here and so are the bright colours.. With that in mind i always try to switch up my makeup according to the season, does it make sense?! To me at least..
I love coral makeup looks, coral eyelids, coral lips and coral blush..
So lets get coralissius!!
2 Lipsticks: pinky coral and orangie coral
Both great pigmentation and durability. also friendly price!
Here's Essence Longlasting Lipstick in 01 Coral Calling - 2,89€
As you can see it tends to be a pinky coral and the photo doesn't make justice according to reality..
It's bright yet not unwearable on daily basis.
The lipstick its creamy and confortable on the lips, i enjoy using it with a purpulish eyelook, not too heavy.. It makes all the look seem much more fun and fresh.
The next lipstick is from Catrice Ultimate Colour range and in the shade 050 Princess Peach - 4,49€
As said in previous posts Catrice lipsticks are my favorite, the longevity is amazing and it's confortable. The shades help a lot aswell..
It's such a gorgeous colour to own and for those out there loving orangie lips it's the perfect one to get! Not too washed out not too orange and bright! It's the perfect combination!
I love this lipstick.. before getting it i debated a lot.. I went to the store and look at it, swatched it in my hand and left without it.. this 3 or 4 times before getting it.
No regrets! I love the shade, i love the way it feels and for this time of the year makes me look so much more awake and springly (if this makes sense)
Here's the swatches of both lipsticks:
left to right:
Essence Longlasting Lipstick in 01 Coral Calling
Catrice Ultimate Colour in 050 Princess Peach
As you can see the pigmentation of both is amazing!!
Still in corals .. here's my one and only blush:
Catrice Defining Duo Blush in 050 Apricot Smoothie
Yes, you read it right! One and only...
To start off i never was into blushes, i can't figure it out how to use them properly, yet..
I'm learning how to adapt it to myself..
This is the first one for the simple reason that i love peachy cheeks..
It makes the skin look so naturally good and healthy!
The swatches are from the both colours
The light colour is the main of the duo and it's on the left side of my arm.
As you probably know i mix the two colours and it results in the almost same colour of the main one..
The blush has some sparkle which i thought it would bugs me but in fact it doesn't.. it's fine and not that noticible on the skin, such perfect healthy glow..
Last but not least an eyeshadow that doesn't seem coral on the picture but i assure it is!
Catrice Ultimate Eye Colour in 100 Welcome to Miami Peach
(such original names Catrice gives to their products)
It doesn't look much of a peach but it still is a light peach sparkly eyeshadow that i enjoy to wear all over the lid or in the inner corner..
It lights up the look and makes it look springly and funny!
Though this post is about coral makeup items i own i don't recomend using them all at once.. in my opinion it doesn't look good, yet you're free to use whatever you feel like to ;)
I hope you liked this post and feel a bit inspired by the coralissius makeup and feel more into Spring season!
