Life Update | New Job | General Changes

I guess I just need to justify why I've been absent for a month, and funny is I didn't even notice the time go by. If you're an avid reader you've noticed I wrote a post on why I was thinking of quitting blogging overall and just live life as it is, considering I'm not getting much further in my blogging path or accomplishing the targets I would've like to by this time. Truth be said I haven't given all the time in the world to blogging and even thou I love it and is one of my favourite things to do I just can't bring myself forward to leave everything else behind for this.

IMA Foundation Course | 2 Weeks |

Time flies when you're having fun, or so they say. It's been 2 weeks already into my Make-up course and I feel like it went by in a minute.

The Foundation weeks are the ones where you learn all about the basics in make-up like foundation, concealer, eyeshadow techniques, lipstick and so on. There's nothing creative involved to be honest and most of the times we spent having a Demo in the morning and practicing the looks in the afternoon on each other.

The components vary from day, evening, vintage and bridal make-up and at the end of the 2 weeks we have the exams on a day and an evening look which will give us the next stage of the course, if we pass. Those exams happened last Friday and I passed! -happy dance-

It's been an experience, to touch people's faces without being unsure of what pressure to use, what space to keep between us and all the talk we need to have in order to provide a good consultation to the client. But at the end of the day it all came to be a normal thing, which is the main.

Since I went through I now have ahead a Fashion and Photography Make-up course which is totally my thing, I'm so excited I can't even believe it is today! From now on I'll have a different make-up artist coming in each day to teach us different techniques and concepts! They will also expand our knowledge on products and the uses we can give to them. It's an overall exciting journey and I just hope to take everything I can from it.

I feel like I learnt things so far but since I do my own make-up for years and years and with blogs, youtube and all the internet sharing I already knew a lot of the theory involved, so the main thing I took from this two weeks was definitely the practice and the help of everyone in understanding the proper way to do things out there.

Spending Ban | #1 March |

Ohh well, I can say now... I'm a weak person!

I failed completely my spending ban for the 1st month of March which will take consequences upon my final goal... less money for IMATS! *crying out loud*

Still, I managed to use up a whole lot of products which was also on my goals list! So not that bad...

At the beginning of the month I got me some Kiko makeup as I went to Oxford Street - that happens twice a year - so I justified the purge and the fact I spent just 30£ was not big of a deal at all...

I've mentioned it before that I'm not too good when it takes to share bits of my life, writing update posts and stuff even thou I quite like reading personal achievement posts and all that jazz!

Well, I guess today is the king's anniversary, as we say in Portugal, and I'm here to share some bits of the lately happenings! Can I just mention for a bit how delicious my cheese toast looks? No one beats this on instagram ;)

Schedule & Life Events

I can't remember the last time I sat down and did an update post, maybe in January? It's been a long time now and I know I should do this more often.

6 months later here I am in dear England and apart from all the hard things, I manage to like London more than I ever expected. People has been lovely to me and the great things happening all the time in this beautiful city makes me feel alive. I'm not very happy with my current job thou and I'm on my way trying to find something else, it's being a year full of new experiences so far. Let's wait and see what I have reserved.

I owe you something...

Hello sweethearts,

Is everything okay with you?! I hope so!

We're all on that time of the year... Exams and more exams to study for, less and less time to do what we enjoy doing.

I'm no exception, which means, as many other student bloggers, I'll be updating less my blog.

Unlike Uni students I won't have Summer holidays since my internship is going to be at the 3 months of plain Summer! I'm not complaining since I knew it would be this way, but it's kinda annoying to have less time due to other priorities.

I just want to give you an explanation for my future lack of presence and ask you to be patient. I'll be updating as many times as I can which means I won't give up my blog. This blog means a lot to me, the people around me notices that and supports me which I'm very thankful!

One more thing, I don't count numbers, I count people. If you want to stay even when I'm a little more busy Thank You from the bottom of my Heart! It means the world to me!

If you think my blog doesn't worth your time, I, of course, feel sad about it yet I wish you a wonderful life!

Thanks for all the support, I'm new and I know it seems like I have nothing but to me I have a lot, and you make this a LOT possible!

What I've been up to #1

Hey sweethearts,
todays post is not about beauty, but i'm sure you'll find it usefull as long as you like the subject!

So here's what i've been watching for the past week:

Rozen Maiden

Rozen Maiden is an anime that i was curious about before but only last week had the courage to watch an episode, well i watched 3 ... It's different from the animes i'm used to, not so differect actually, but anyway, it's about dolls that persuade humans to be their slaves.. With that, the human transfers energy to the doll so it can face the enemies.. Its weird to tell the whole story since i only watched 3 episodes but it was what i've kept from it..
I've been liking it and i find the dolls so cute... If you like anime you should definitely check this out ;)

As you may know i read, not a lot because i'm quite peculiar with my readings but here's one confession... i read fanfics... about 1D. I'm not ashamed of that, i quite like the way some girls out there write stories about the boys.. It's not for the boys it's for the story itself..
So, i had such long time without reading fics, but last week found one that's really cool.

As you can see for the title it's about Zayn Malik but of course all the boys appear.. I'm not going to tell the story so you have to read it but i assure you that it's really easy to read... You should definitely check it out!

Small Update

In personal, update

I need your opinion!

Hey lovelies,
today i have something to share with you and i want your opinions..

So to me makes a lot of sense to create a blog to share my interests and opinions, thinking about myself but also thinking about my readers.. Since a lot of you doesn't keep in touch with me and since i'm new at this blogger thing i'm sometimes a bit alone to decide which tide to take , i hope this makes sense..

I was commited to make 3 posts a week with the same theme but different content, but i feel the need to change something up.. i feel like this is becoming boring to you, if it's already to me to talk about the same exact thing every week..

I'm here asking for your opinion, should i or should i not keep on doing this series every week?
i feel they're useful but every week it becomes a little overwhelming, so in my opinion i should keep on doing them but instead of one per week, present one per month..

I want to do some different things in here, take more beauty related subjects such as tutorials, reviews, etc.. I hope it will please you all .

In book, update

Book update!

Hey sweethearts!
I've been a little busy lately so i decided to do another post on the same day since i have some time now :)

I'm waiting for my bus to come, i'm going home for Christmas! can't wait to make some delicious cakes and cookies and traditional deserts... and yes i'll make an effort to post photos about my Christmas table here!

I'm going to talk about books...
Books Books Books... when i love i f*cking love for real..

As you can tell i'm a bit gothish if this word even exists... i don't actually consider myself a goth but still love their culture and books are one of those things i love from them...

I have a collection of Edgar Allan Poe books, already did a post about them ;)
I also love fantastic books, such as Patrick Rothfuss ones... i can't even tell you how i love this man! He's such a talented writer!!
Anyway... yesterday i was searching on the internet some books, i can't even remember how i get to this one...

the original title is Traité de Vampirologie – Par le docteur Abraham Van Helsing

i don't know if there's an english version but i'm sure it exists.. i just can't find it now, later i'll check it..

So i'm extremely excited, i already ordered and they already sent me so probably in a few days it will be at home!! After read it i'll do a review !

But...

This is not the only book i found ... so i discovered this writer called Sarah Pinborough .. i know nothing about her or her books, i read a review on this one:

So it seems to be a fairy tale but in an adult way... they compare her books to Once Upon a Time serie... i can't wait to start watching it and i can't also wait to buy this book.. or another one from her... it seems to be intersting..

If you already read it please tell me about it....

Quick update

Hey lovely people,

i don't update this very much 'cause my camera is always breaking so it's not easy to take good quality pictures for you to see.. since i'm moving with a friend and she has a good camera i'm thinking about invite her to join the blog and she takes care of the photos and write some articles as well...

Let's see if she accepts the challenge..

Quick update, i'm waiting for various orders i made and they'll come at the end of this month so hopefully i'll have a great camera to show you what i ordered and then tell you how i feel about everything :)
