On one of my recent trips to Kiko I went all nuts over their eye products, as per usual! I definitely wanted to haul them at some point and even thou the shade range is rather interesting I found the shades I selected are quite transitional for in between seasons.
On a very boring Saturday I decided to visit Westfield and see what's new in Kiko and couldn't believe on how much I've been missing out lately!
The most recent limited edition is inspired by Asian culture and in collaboration with the brand Isa Arfen to celebrate Kiko's 20th anniversary!
Christmas is around the corner and I can see all the excitment in everyone's posts around the blogosphere! We all know Christmas most iconic colour has to be Red and since we all have different ways that we like to express that within our styles I decided to bring 3 different Red beauty products that we can use either together or on their own during the festive season. And a bonus is they're all affordable!!
The festive season is usually all about glitter and pops of red everywhere but not all of us enjoy such bold statements, and the social pressure can be there to make us wear that red lipstick we've got since 5 Christmas ago that we hate...
If this is the case, you can be glamorous and season appropriate by twisting the red and going for the mauves instead! With these 5 products you can create a stunning look that will be festive yet not on your face and is a safe playground for those who are less experienced.
Nail polishes, long time no see! Finally I'm not working full time on the bakery and can rock my long colourful nails for the most part of the week! It sounds a bit irrelevant but I've always liked to do my nails and be creative with them, one of the first posts was actually a nail art, which unfortunately I had to stop improving as my pastry course started. For health and safety reasons we can't have long nails let alone with chemicals on top. Since I'm just working part time there from now on I can do my nails on the days off which made me get so excited I bought tons o new polishes.
I can't remember the last time I brought skincare to the blog, and since Summer is here what a better opportunity to do so.
Starting with my morning routine, as lazy as I can be, I always go for the easy way. I start off with Bioderma Micellar Water (10£) or any other brand, and go over with my moisturiser that is either the Vichy Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Care (14,50£) or the Origins Gin-Zing Energy Boosting Moisturiser (24£). For the times my skin is not behaving as it should I pick the Vichy one since it combats blemishes, for other times my skin is alright or if the day is too warm I opt for the Origins option since it's refreshing and very light on the skin. I always finish with the Anthelios XL SPF50+ (20£) from La Roche Posay.

Plum Oyster
Plum has always been one of my favourite eyeshadow looks to go around but often comes out the same so I decided to give it a little twist and incorporate a few shiny details!
Base - MAC Paint Pot - Soft Ocre
Lid - Catrice - Knoble Nights (metallic grey with khaki undertones) + I Like To Mauve It ( taupe-mauve w/ sparkles)
Crease + Lower Lash Line - Catrice - Heidi Plum (dark matte plum with grey undertones)
Inner Corner - Catrice - I Love Champagne (shimmery champange)
Waterline - Kiko Smart Eye Pencil - 806
Mascara + Brows - Kiko Super Colour Mascara - 01 Violet
Eyeliner - L'oreal Super Liner So Couture
Rhinestones - Claire's
Highlighters are everywhere and even thou I don't own the amazing Champagne Pop or Soft & Gentle I still managed to grab a good variety of them that I love but... just wait for IMATS, something tells me I will come home with a few more...
From liquid to powder there's plenty of options, some more affordable than others, and for the most part differing in shade and intensity!
I managed to downsize to my favourites to 8, no judgments, I honestly love each one of these can't really skip any.
With Spring upon us I can totally rock my flower headband and bright pink lipstick with no excuse! I for sure am a girl of dark bold makeup but couldn't resist the sunshine asking for the bright yet wearable look!
To add to the fun I decided I would just reach for affordable products, which proves once more the drugstore brands are upping their game and no need for more expensive makeup to reach a fresh yet fun makeup look!

Kiko Makeup Milano, you probably heard of them by now! It's been one of my top favourite brands for the past 6 years which is clearly noticed when you open my makeup collection, It's everywhere from foundation to lipstick and of course eyeshadow!
The Kiko Infinity + Sparkle Eyeshadows come in 12 different shades and usually retail for 5,90£, being on sale for a while at the price of 2,80£!
Duo Chrome shadows are my everything at the moment! I love how they shift colours in a matter of light and how vibrant and sparkly they are! I've always wanted to try them in a dark cream base and since I got a few shadow sticks from Kiko, I went for this look.
Must say that I really went out after this look, and that's why the pictures look like taken in a rush, because they were. Apologies for that!

Thanks for reading,
Usually powder is not a thing people talk much about, unless they suffer from severe oiliness. I have combination to oily skin and as far as I remember powder was one of the very first makeup items I used, it still remains one of the most important to me!
