My Little Bubble Box | March 2016 |

It is no longer new that I love My Little Box and even thou I'm on a spending ban this was one of the things I decided it was worth a keep! It's a subscription of 11£ plus shipping and since I always love what I get why cancel? Non sense, right?

This months box was very anticipated, I've seen snaps of the bubbles here and there on My Little Box social media platforms but would never guess it right!

Firstly, I love the colour combination and once more the overall design of the box.

Getting a bit deeper into it, the contents of this month's box are very exciting!

What I saw first on the wrapping goodness was the little card with a balloon with the message "Be Wild!" that I particularly love and will keep!

The usual magazine is also amazing and I always like to give it a good read on the evening, it gives tips and tricks not only for things they send but also a whole lot of interesting subjects, and obviously the design steals my heart!

On the beauty side we've got the beautiful Essie Nail Polish in Belugaria, a textured black varnish with glitter in it! Totally in love, a shame I can't wear it too often but for special occasions it'll be my first pick!

For the hair we got the stunning blue brush which has "Be Cooler" printed on the back, it is a good size brush and helps me in the mornings to get ready, it sure was a great addition to the box as I personally didn't own any of this type, not to talk about the colour! Looks gorgeous on top of my vanity!

Makeup, you know this is my favourite bit! I was blown away when I saw a Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara (travel size), it is my very first try on their products and I'm keeping it for the future, it sure looks luxurious and is, as I could read, a new launch!

Sponges are getting popular everyday in the beauty community and most companies own at least one type that they offer, but hard is to beat the beauty blender that so many people love! I haven't tried The Blending Sponge yet but as soon as I have an opinion on it I'll give you an update! It feels denser than my RT or BB ones but let's see what it does for me!

Lastly, still on the bubble theme we've got Bubble Blush, a lip and cheek stain in a beautiful cool toned pink that I adore! I like the fact it is buildable in intensity and doesn't feel too liquid!

I loved this months box and everything in it adds something to my routine whether it is on a daily basis hair styling or special occasion nail art!

Too Faced | Chocolate Bon Bons Palette |

Chocolate, my weakness.. you can see by the bite in that hidden bonbon at the end... oops!

Oh well, today I have a delicious palette to talk about, it is of course the so famous Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons! I must start by saying it is my very first Too Faced eyeshadow palette and for me, personally, has some hits and misses!

I was kindly gifted this by my boy which makes it extra special but I never leave any kind of affection interfere in my opinion on the products.

Starting with the packaging, it is pink, I'm not a girl of pinks but oh well I can deal with it! It feels sturdy but I must say mine doesn't seem to close properly. It struggles on the magnet area which makes me think it would be a huge problem if I thought of taking it with me somewhere! It has a mirror that is very handy at some points and yes it does smell like chocolate. It's not overly scented but you notice it when you first open the palette! The heart shape pans are to die for, I know, it's probably the major thing why people got so excited about this!

Now, onto the real thing, as packaging doesn't really count when I'm putting makeup on my face!

To start with the colour selection is a bit all over the place, I understand the theme was love and sweet so pink comes along right but it doesn't makes much sense to me to put pinks, a burgundy and a grey-ish blue together in one palette when the rest is basically neutrals. Doesn't look cohesive and I know many people won't even dare to touch those brighter shades.

What comes for me as the biggest hit is the top rectangular shade - Satin Sheets - stunning for the lid, inner corner and even if I'm feeling that adventurous for the overall highlight of the face! A big let down is that purple on the corner - Black Currant - what where they thinking? It is so sheer it makes me cry! When you pay 39£ for a palette it better be consistently good! I can even tell you a story, I was trying this palette out creating a look and I wanted that supposedly dark purple on my crease to deepen everything out, guess what? It did nothing but mess up the look as it was too sheer!

The pigmentation overall is good, but I can tell the shimmery shades have better consistency than the matte ones which is normal in most brands.

My top shades are Satin Sheets (shimmery), Divinity (matte), Cafe au lait (shimmery), Mocha (matte). - pigmentation is on point and shade selection itself very good.

The let downs are Black Currant (shimmery), Almond Truffle (matte), Bordeaux (matte), Cashew Chew (matte). - the overall pigmentation is poor barely showing up on the skin or not coming out with the same shade as in the pan.

It's by any means a bad palette I just could definitely live without it - if I had Satin Sheets in a single pot of course! I'm curious to try the original Chocolate Bar and see how they compare but I'm not too keen on spending 39£ in one more palette if it comes out like this one.

Makeup Declutter | A Friend's Bag |

Remember my Spending Ban post a few days ago? I'm still going strong and before it even started I donated a bag (almost) full of products to a friend that also loves makeup!

I'm a strong believer that if it's good it can go to someone else {aka the person who also loves makeup as much as I do} so I decided to pull out a few things I had in my collection and didn't touch for a while, didn't work or where wrong shade for me!

Eyeshadow is actually the hardest for me as they don't expire as easily and I love playing with them, the thing is I own far too many and I've been getting loads of palettes recently which brings me to the point I don't use loads of other things.
Rosy shades are not my favourite but the friend I gifted them to actually owns the Naked 3 and uses it a lot so she will probably love these more than I ever did!
Also loads of singles that I already have in other palettes are going as I don't grab them as much as I'd like to, yes a Colour Tatoo included, I honestly don't like cream shadows that much!

Most of my stick shadows are going, I'm keeping 5 that I actually use but all of these have no space in my collection and I don't even remember the last time I grabbed them! Eyeliners I have 2 that I used probably twice and they're still good so why keep something I don't use instead of giving it to someone who will?

I don't have a photo of the lipsticks I donated but there were two pinks one bright and one baby pink, both barely touched! I'm not a huge fan of straight on pinks rather use a mauve or a vampy shade!

Last but not least I have some face products. The L'oreal foundation is too dark for me, which is a shame I was so interested in using it! I hope it suits my friend better because it's 99% full! Also my Fit Me Concealer, it oxidizes badly on my skin and even thou it's the 010 it's too dark! I heard the shade 15 is good for fair people when I finish all my concealers I may give that one a try!

Blushes are growing like no other thing in my collection I started with 4 and now I have loads! I decided to pass on the ones I was not using as much, all of them pinky shades! Lastly I have a brow gel that is quite good but doesn't match me too well!

These were all the things I gave away I also have things that are going to the bin but I'll save them for an empties post later on! I hope this encourages you to take a look around your collection, it is always better to pass on than let it expire!
