Trash Talk - Makeup Declutter

I was definitely needing a clear out in my makeup collection! I don't consider it to be big but it definitely is more than a normal person would have. I confess, I'm addicted. It's my passion, my hobby, my future! I just love makeup!

Starting with face! I just finished Catrice All Matt Plus face powder that I absolutely loved and replaced by Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Powder Waterproof (review here). I won't repurchase it since I've found a new love for the Waterproof powder but still if you want a good powder try this!

Kiko is and has always been one of my favorite brands, I have tried a lot of their products and I can't remember once I got disappointed! No exception for the 3D Lifting Concealer! I have it for the longest time and I love it but I don't think they sell it anymore which is a shame! Great product for under eye area, it helps brighten it up!

What it takes to the eyes I've made a pretty huge clean! I love eyeliner, I'm a bit obsessed since it's been one of my favorite things to wear for the past years which means I have these for the longest time ever. The formula of some is not good by this time and others I just don't see me wearing anymore.

I've got rid of 2 black eyeliners, the Essence Waterproof Liquid Ink that is dry and Avon Colortrend in Zebra Black that I completely hate... The formula is horrible it's sheer and it breaks and flakes out which is definitely not my thing! I probably wore it 5 times if so. Can't stand it!

Oriflame Very Me eyeliner in Blue was probably my first ever colored eyeliner having at least 3 years! Time to let go! The lovely baby blue eyeliner is actually from H&M although I love the color the formula is so sheer I can't wear it!

The Crystal liner by Essence has been a huge favorite but the brush is completely damaged and to be honest I don't think it is good to use anymore. Last but not least the Kiko Definition eyeliner in 06 has years and years of use, the formula changed as normal for expired products and it's thick and has a odd smell. I used to love this purple liner and wear it all the time but it has to go away.

If you follow me for some time now you probably noticed I developed some kind of obsession for lipsticks but I never ever ever liked lipglosses! I only have this 2 and I'm trowing them away! The Avon Colortrend Berry Fizz lipgloss has a lovely color and it's not that sticky I just can't bear using it. The formula has also separated so it's not good for sure!

Lastly I'm going to trow away the Douglas Absolute Lipgloss my mom gave me as gift for my birthday 2 years ago. It definitely is not in good state! I used to like it but never wear it which makes me feel a bit bad since mom gave me with good intentions! If it's not good don't keep it! There's no point!

As you can see my makeup collection is definitely lighter now and have more space for new things!

Trash Talk #4

Good morning beauties!!

It's that time of the month where i share with you the products i've been using up!

I find exciting to finish some products it means that i can try out some more!

Last months i've used up some skincare, bath and makeup products!

I'm particularly excited for finishing makeup since it's something that not always occurs.

Let's see what i repurchase or not!!

Face:

Skincare is something important and you shall know that from the first moment you step into the makeup world!

It's usual to finish skincare products every once in a while..

The Biphasic EyeMakeup Remover from Sephora i have for ages, it's the travel size and you're probably questioning why i took so long to use it up..

Maybe because i'm not a huge fan of biphasic removers since they're super oily and get easily into my eyes.. This particular one does the job but i won't repurchase!

Moisturizers are something i use up in 2 months! Which for some of you may seem fast and for others a bit slowy.

The fact is i use the moisturizer i own everyday and i only have one at time, i mean, i don't have 2 or 3 different ones when i purchase i always purchase one..

This Uriage A.I. moisturizer has been my loyal friend since my 14s but when i used this up i opted to buy a different one this time! Repurchase?! - maybe one day! It's a really good product!

Makeup:

Some makeup we finish it and other we can't stand it!

Here's the perfect example! At first my holy grail eyeliner by Essence that i used up for the trillion time! And at the other side this awful lipstick by Basic!

I hate that lipstick so much! The smell, the texture, the feeling on the lips! It's just horrible.. Smells and feels like plastic and it can't fill my lips correctly! No matter how many times i apply it, it will never be opaque! Aggrrr... at least was like 2 or 3€ so not that expensive.. can't complain much but for the same price i have Essence lipsticks that are AMAZING!

Basic Lipstick - Goes to trash and never come back!

I'm also trowing away makeup that has expired such as mascaras.. None of these are finished, actually they have a good ammount of product but the thing is, they have expired and they 'hurt' my eyes in a way.. There's nothing that will make me keep these if they're harmful right?!

Repurchase any of these?! - I don't tend to repurchase mascaras since there are so many out there that i want to try but if you wanna know my opinion about the quality, yes they're all good.. and Catrice mascaras are definitely a must!

Body:

Shower is also a place where products can't seem to last a lot of time which i find great so i can try another products as well...

Conditioner is something that you shall use but i honestly don't seem to use it that much.. I just finished this one and i don't have a lot to say about it.. yes it gives my hair softness but it's not that visible trhough the day after i shower.. Repurchase?! - No

Shower creams are a kind of gel formula but more creamy, i hope it makes sense.

I've used up Wonderful and Preppy Chic one, both from Oriflame and both amazing! The first smell is more warm than the second that seems to be fresher but both were a favorite while using them. I won't repurchase because i want to try other ones!

Wonderful was a collection and i got the body cream too! So moisturizing that i can't even!!! I love Oriflame body products they're amazing in texture, moisture, smell... You have to try them if you have the opportunity.. Just to mention that Oriflame is like Avon, a catologue brand.

So my Trash is going to be full but i will have some extra space to try new products that i'm looking foward!

Trash Talk #2

Hello sweethearts,

Yesterdays post was about products i'm going to get rid off and as promised here's the second part.. All about the face products i don't like or don't find a use to..

Lets start with a face mask:

Oriflame pure nature organic Jasmine extract exfoliating peel-off mask

(such long name)

This was one of the first face masks i bought so i have it in my drawer for the longest time..

As it says on the packaging it's a peel-off mask, it's transperant and the smell is fresh, the texture is like a gel and feels great on the skin.

When it dries you peel-off the 'skin' thing above your face and voila... in my case... nothing happens.

Yes it did nothing to my skin.. nothing at all..

That's a fair reason to trow it away i guess.. and for the time i have it i can't give away it propably does more harm than good..

Recently i did a Concealer Collection where i talked about this 2 products, the Oriflame one was my first concealer (it seems that my first makeup is all from oriflame) and the shade doesn't matches my skin.. it's not good for my under eyes so i tried it and probably used it 2 or 3 times.

By this time the expiration date has also came and so that it's not good for anyone..

Garbage here it comes!

Essence Coverstick is good, it's heavy but it covers .. it's a bit dry but you can mask that with your foundation.. it's just too old.. and i don't find myself using it anymore..

It's almost gone but i won't finish it i can't wear it anymore it makes my skin look flacky.. not good to picture it..

Lastly on my trash talk i have 2 powders and one face primer..

Catrice Prime and Fine primer does nothing for me, it doesn't make my foundation last longer and it doesn't cover my pores.. it's just useless and by now also too old to be used..

Oriflame very me powder, one more time, was my first face powder and a total disappointment when i discovered other powders.. this one doesn't cover and doesn't mattyfies the skin.. it does nothing at all it's just a layer of useless product on my face .. i used it for a good time until i discovered my Catrice All Matt Plus..

Essence Sun club bronzer is orange colour masked as a brown shade... don't like it, actually i hate this powder.. it leaves my face orange, it has a smell that i don't like, it's too messy and it doesn't blend easily..

Maybe its a favorite of someone else out there but i assure you Catrice bronzer is a million years better than this one.. shame on essence! :(

Trash Talk #1

Hello lovelies,

The month has begun and with that i made some clean up in my makeup collection...

I'm not here to tell you that this products are trash, they probably suits lots of people tastes but not mine and i'm here sharing with you the ones i don't find useful in my routine and i know i won't use them.

Let's start with lips!

I'm trowing away 2 lipsticks and 1 lipgloss...

Nyx is a raved brand all over the beauty world and i agree it's a good brand but i had such bad luck with this particular lipstick.. The time i bought this one i also picked another and the other is in perfect conditions and i love it.. but this one is not good, it just melted and left fragments of lipstick in my mouth.. it was not opaque and was too creamy.. not confortable to use at all...

KikoMakeup Milano is one of my favorite brands and this lipstick was the first one i bought... yeah it's old and that's why i'm going to leave it.. It looks ok in the picture but i assure you it was with such bad aspect when i last checked it in my collection..

Since it's expiration date has come i don't find any other option unless send it to garbage..

Claire's not a brand of cosmetics but it has one range of various products so i was excited to try some of them... i have to admit i'm not a huge wearer of lipgloss.. i don't like it much but i also know when a lipgloss is ok to wear .. this one is sticky and the scent annoys me.. not for me.

Eyeliners are the things i'm trowing away and for different reasons...

The blue eyeliner you see there is not pigmented and doesn't last.. won't keep something that doesn't work ..

The black pen is an eyeliner from Essence and i just can't handle it.. yes it's waterproof and in a bad way.. you take your makeup off but you still keep the eyeliner traces.. it doesn't get off not even with a biphasic makeup remover.. it's just a no product.

MUA is known by selling low price products.. it's my third mua product going to trash and that means i didn't like anything i had from them.. i used to have a palette but it gained mold... how can that be possible?! i didn't have it for a long time at all.. and i cleaned it once but it returned.. so i send it to the garbage.. now this eyeliner.. i loved the colour.. it's juts the formula.. as the essence one it also leaves traces and it's not opaque i have to use it 2 or 3 times to have the true colour..
It's not a good formula at all.. not to talk about the wand..

The black round pack you see on the left side is also an eyeliner.. by oriflame.. and this one is not going to trash, i'm going to give it away to someone else.. the product is great, it's a bright blue with silver sparkle and the formula is also good but i don't find myself using it anymore.. i used it only 2..

The cute little gadget you see in the middle is actually an eyelash curler.. does it sound weird ?! i used it for some time but nops.. it does nothing to my lashes and the material is cheap plastic..
The only good thing about it is the print and the colour! so gorgeous!
