I guess is never too late to share the favourites of the year with you all, as they probably will serve as reference for future purchases or a simply add on to the wishlist! Either way, 2016 was the year I got more high end make-up than my entire life, and it was also the year I've spent hundreds of £ on IMATS (sorry not sorry)!

As a result, it was hard to pick favourites but deep inside I knew which products impressed me the most and got most used.

Face

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing - erases my pores, prolongues the wear of make-up around nose, chin and around the mouth.

Too Faced Born This Way - evens skin tone, looks natural, medium coverage, blends effortlessly, looks good with any primer, doesn't oxidise.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer - medium to full coverage, lightweight formula, blends evenly, not drying on the eye area, doesn't collect on fine lines.

Mac MSF Natural - sets make-up without looking powdery on the skin

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer - gives the most natural bronze to the skin, matte, easy to blend, never looks patchy.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush Wardrobe - variety of different blushes, all blend amazingly in the skin, last all day long - my favourite is Love Hangover

Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter Sin - vibrant highlight, smooth, soft, lasts all day on the skin.

Eyes

Mac Paint Pot Soft Ocre - cancels out the veins, prolongues the wear of eyeshadow, improves intensity.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance - variety of shades, in particular warmer eyeshadows, pigmentation is unreal, blends like a dream, stays on all day, a variety of looks can be achieved within one palette.

Catrice High Lighting Eyeshadow 10 - Versatile as it can be used for eyeshadow and highlighter on the face, it gives a wet look, amazing on the inner corners and goes with every eyeshadow look.

NYX Collection Noir Liquid Eyeliner - brush tip is very easy to use, fine lines are achieved with barely any effort, stays on all day, intense black.

Gosh Intense Eyeliner Pen Grey - felt tip is very easy to use, the pigment and formula are amazing and it lasts all day long, very impressive shade of grey. 

Kiko Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara - gives volume, length and separates the lashes without clumping, it lasts all day without flacking or smudging (which is rare on me). The brush has a particular shape similar to the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel 21 - surprisingly easy to use, very pigmented, a little bit goes a long way, stays on all day without smudging, can give a strong but also a very natural effect depending on the amount of product used.

Lips 

Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick Starkers - My most used lipstick, goes well with everything, formula is creamy but doesn't slide around, stays on for a fair good amount of hours and I see it working in a variety of skin tones. 

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick Stepping Out - BEST LIQUID LIPSTICK FORMULA EVER. Nothing else needs to be said! It is comfortable on the lips, very easy to apply considering the heart shape applicator, super pigmented and last all day long.
