Not being a master of sculpting my face I have quite a few bits to help me on the matter! At this right moment Strobing is the new trend but for those Contour lovers a good shaping kit is a necessity!
On a collection of 3 sets with contour and highlighting powders I'm about to unveil which one is my favourite and what I love about every single kit! The greatest part is they are all drugstore priced, affordable to everyone out there and for sure you'll find one to suit your taste!
Kiko Sculpting Bronzer / Sleek Face Contour Kit / Maybelline Master Sculpt |
The most important thing to say is that my skin is light so I tend to go for lighter shades to appear more natural although on the Maybelline Master Sculpt I opted for the Medium/Dark option as it looked more ashy tone perfect for the look I want to achieve! Being the darkest option it still suits my light complexion perfectly giving the amount of colour I need! As you can see on the swatches it definitely has more ashy tones but the difference in colour is not too noticeable meaning any light skin can pull this out!
Sleek Face Contour Kit is not new and probably one of the first products to appear on the drugstore for the matter but being my lazy self I didn't find the need to give it a go until a few months back! What I was missing!! It's a great product for the price of ~6£ giving the perfect natural contour effect on my skin. It's a bit more powdery than the others but it doesn't matter much to me as it doesn't show off on the skin that way. It lasts all day becoming even more beautiful after a few hours of wear! One to try if you haven't yet!
Last but not least the Kiko Daring Game Limited Edition Sculpting Bronzer in Radiant Honey has a special place in my heart! It has two contouring shades that can be mixed for a natural look or if you prefer get the darkest one to sculpt your face and the light one to bronze! It is the warmest of them all but once again it doesn't show orang-y on the skin and can be used as a bronzer if you prefer! Sadly was a limited edition but if you have it -lucky you- it sure does a great job!
Maybelline Master Sculpt / Sleek Face Contour Kit / Kiko Sculpting Bronzer |
Highlight has been my favourite thing for the past months, not because it's a trend but I finally managed to apply it the right way, or so do I think! I've managed to get my hands on the so famous Mary-Lou Manizer but before I had a few great choices such as the Sleek one! Being my favourite of the 3 shown it obviously stands up quite well next to Mary-Lou being a great alternative for those who can't get the first one. Having the most beautiful gold tone to it, Sleek highlighter makes every skin look radiant, glow-y and healthy! A must in everyone's collection to be fair! As for the Maybelline one, it definitely has a more subtle shimmer to it and doesn't give as much glam as the Sleek one but for a daily use it's great! Both having soft texture compliment fair to light skin tones and I love to use them with a fan brush from RT! Kiko being limited edition won't have much of a spotlight in here but I sure love this one as well and give it much use when nothing else is up to my expectations! Kiko never fails me! From all the three Skeek is the one with a butter-y consistency standing up in quality of application as the Maybelline and Kiko ones have a bit more fall out and powder-y formula.
Overall we all know my favourite contour powder of the moment goes to the Master Sculpt Kit and Highlighting wise my Sleek does not disappoint!

Garnier Micellar Water £4.99
I'm quite sure you are all finding this post a waste of time as you read millions of reviews on this product but actually this one is quite new. As you can tell for the packaging Garnier redesigned the bottle of the so famous Micellar Water and I'm quite sure they reformulated the formula as well. Why do I think that? I tried the first one, everybody raved about. It was good but nothing special. It did remove my makeup but made my eyes a bit dry and left my skin uncomfortable after using that's why I never featured it in a post. It took me ages to finish the bottle and honestly I can't remember if I did it completely.
For the time I went to Superdrug and saw the new stand for this bottle of goodness in a quite good deal I decided to pick it up again. Who knows it would be a different story now and it was indeed. No longer it leaves my skin feeling uncomfortably dry or leave my eyes dehydrated. Removes all the makeup effortlessly, the reason behind my purchase, leaving my skin fresh and ready for the day/night. I can't assure you it was reformulated as I didn't find anything about it on Garnier's website but my experience with it went from not so good to a daily use product.
The fact they changed the bottle is great as I prefer this one much better so definitely I recommend trying this one if you already loved it or if you didn't find anything special still give it a go as it can surprise you.
Have you tried Garnier Micellar Water?
Thans for reading,
What a better way to get into summer spirit than a sunset inspired look? For the hot days we can't bother to wear much makeup is always a good alternative to stay just for the eyeliner. To spice things up a bit I decided to give the classic black a rest and use more colourful choices! It may not look very wearable but I can say it's quite discreet as it stays in one family of colours and are all warm!
Blue eyeliners seem to be my favourite as the collection keeps growing to the level of a focus post on MB! Why Blue? It makes brown eyes pop and can be worn with loads of colour combinations in many different ways!
From navy to sky blue here's my collection of pencil liners that I love to wear on a day to day basis. Hopefully you'll find one to suit your taste!

Kiko Glamorous Eye Pencil 409 / Catrice Longlasting Eye pencil waterproof 090 Petrol and the Wolf / Essence Longlasting Eye pencil 17 Tu-Tu-Touqouise / Kiko Smart Eye Pencil 813 - 807 - 809 - 810 -806
For as long as I remember I've always been this lazy when it takes to skincare so my body is being neglected for at least 3 months. While summer is being generous in England I definitely pull out some dresses here and there but my legs, poor legs, look awfully dehydrated. With my hopes high I went to Boots looking for the perfect easy moisturising routine, or something of that kind and ended up with quite a few bits!
The luminosity of an angel is enigma but the light of an inner corner must be outstanding!
If eyeliner is your thing you for sure love to use different colours and create the most variable designs and as for one of those days I didn't bother to put eyeshadow on I decided to give the eye makeup a flick through a different eyeliner work.
H&M Envy Me / Kiko 266 / Kiko 227 / Kiko 385 / Cliche Top Coat Matt
When you make a decision of 1) being a pastry chef 2) moving to another country you face many changes mostly when it takes to your nails. My hands look awful, the nails are shapeless and fragile something I wouldn't expect as for the past years (before the pastry course) I had long and good looking nails as you can see on this post.
Apart from all the drama of having to give all the 40 polishes I had on my drawers I still managed to keep 5, 4 colours that I can't live without and a matte top coat making the minimum nail set complete.
As you can probably tell Kiko has my favourite polishes as they have an amazing range of colours and finishes lasting a pretty good time on me. Long story short I had to keep my two most used blues, a vampy red and an emerald shade for the times I still manage to have good looking nails, that are not too often this days.
Nail art used to be one of my favourite things to do justifying the amount of colours and finishes I had back then. Sadly I don't do it anymore and I'm afraid I lost my touch on that department but if I ever end up having a different job that allows me to have the manicure on point I sure will grow back my nail polish collection. Till then I'm left with 4 favourites to use and abuse on the upcoming occasions, the ones I know won't let me down.
Which nail polishes are your favourites?

I'm late to the party, once again. You've seen the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms a million times on the web and so as the Sleek Matte Me Lip Creams but recently was the first time I tried those. On a random trip to Superdrug I fell in love with Fandango Purple by Sleek I spent weeks thinking about it and finally gave in. I'm in love. It's the first liquid lipstick I try and actually like as for the past I had bad experiences on this department.
Blue and yellow gold is probably not the most popular combination but I quite like to make it different sometimes. Tired of the same ol' black liquid liner I had to go for a bright blue and the one above is by Kiko Colour Shock Longlasting Eyeshadow in 07. Underneath is laying Catrice 620 Inglorious Mustards, one of my most used shadows of the past weeks (who would say that) and for the crease colours I went with my beloved Tartelette palette shades in Dreamer and Power Play. The lower lash line mirrors the crease colours in harmony with the Kiko Colour Sphere Eyeshadow in 02 giving me some light.
Getting out of the comfort zone can be hard sometimes but you can pull out anything. Be confident and dare to wear some different shades!

MUA Undress Me Too
Let's take a moment to appreciate all the beauty in this shadows. Breathtaking. I love this palette, what else can I say? Give you good reasons to try it too!
NikkieTutorials was the one who made me buy it and oh my thanks for that! It has the most amazing shades and being obsessed with the shimmery bronzes and golds lately I couldn't ask for more!
I'm 100% sure everyone on the blogging community has at least one product they bought because of other blogger or youtuber. I'm no different but instead of doing a 'youtube made me buy it' kinda post I'm being more realistic and sharing with you what NikkieTutorials influenced me to buy. Why Nikkie? Easy! My favourite youtuber of all time and the one I trust to recommend me things.
Summer is finally here and as a celebration I decided to do an extra post every Friday till the end of this month sharing makeup looks to wear this season! Sounds exciting right? Hopefully you'll get inspired!
The first look I'm sharing is created using the super affordable Sleek palette in Storm (7.99£/10€) that gets much love in general but some of shades don't get much use as the other ones! Trying to find a way to wear those more often I created a combo with the sparkling rose shade and the denim blue. On the inner corner I used the Catrice Highlighter Pen in 010 Eye Like! which gave the loo a hint of light. The super sparkling eye can be worn at night but also on a daily basis for the adventurous ones! I really like the way it turned out and definitely will wear this combination more often as its quick and only requires one palette! The quality of Sleek shadows is well known as they feel buttery and are easy to blend giving the overall eyeshadow work a much nicer and quicker result.
What do you think about this look? Would you wear it?

Multi tasking products is no longer new to the beauty community so when it takes to my beauty session I often reach for the same product for different things. Guess what it is? A brown eyeshadow!
Brown eyeshadows can be girls best friends when they don't have the time to sit there and choose every and any other bit of makeup. Did I mention it will save you space on the makeup bag? Great! So a Brown eyeshadow can be used as:
