I literally had to go through a storm to get this palette so once I did I was extremely happy to know I wouldn't be the only person who happens to love Kat Von D eyeshadows (crying everyday for not getting Mi Vida Loca Remix Palette) not owning this! 

With Summer still around there's no better time than this to pull off those aqua blue eyeshadows and fuchsia lipsticks! Mermaids are not afraid of colourful looks, I suppose!

With a huge collection of colourful products I managed to round up only a few that remind me somehow of mermaids, and if that's the look you're going for, you most likely will enjoy these!

I'm gonna start my Weekly Palette Series with the most talked about eyeshadow palette of the moment! The one and only - Subculture! And before I even start on my opinion, I want to say that everyone has different experiences, techniques with every single makeup product that there is out there. To address the drama involved, most people were probably disappointed somehow with the performance of the palette but that doesn't mean the product is bad, it means their expectations were not met. Expectations are personal and they shouldn't definite a product or brand in general. 

Either way, I'm here to express my personal and as always honest opinion on this specific product and if it met my personal expectations regarding quality/price!

After a break I've decided to change things around a little bit. I've been doing this for 4 years now and is not that I'm not happy how far I came as a blogger but how much I've learnt ever since hitting the publish button for the first time.

It's hard to engage people, mainly when you're not talking about the same things everyone does or your writing style is particular... or you're not writing clickbait titles. I've learnt a lot and I hope to learn more coming forward. One of those things is to keep it simple. So I suppose I'll take that path now, and remain as direct and informative as possible without being boring (or at least I'll try)!!

As far as favourite beauty products goes I've made up my mind around a couple things...

It turns out I've been away for longer than expected. Which is good in a way as it let me enough time to realise that more than anything, I just started this place as a diary type of thing, registering creative moments and knowledge that I get here and there on my day to day life - other than making this a second job!
