Born Pretty Store* Makeup Review

The fact makeup is a huge part of my life is not new so when I get the opportunity to try new brands and new products makes my day!
Born Pretty Store is a website that sells all kind of beauty products from nail art to makeup at affordable prices. They sent me a few products of my choice to review where I'm going to share my opinion on.

The first thing I tried was the blush that I can say is a bit sheer comparing to others I have making it a good one for day to day wear or when you're in a hurry as you can never apply too much! The colour is a pretty pink peachy tone with matte finish - amazing for the spring time. It comes with a brush and a mirror in a white plastic packaging.

With this lipstick I tried to get out of my comfort zone and chose a colour that's not at all what I usually wear! The Neon Pink lipstick is pigmented but not opaque so you need to at least go with 2 or more layers till get a total covering of your lips. It's not sticky like a lipgloss but it glues a bit to the lips and its really hard to take it off making it a good long lasting choice. I can see it becoming a stunning colour on top of a nuder lipstick!

I was really excited to try this one but unfortunately the colour I picked is too warm for me. Forgetting the not so flattering colour the pencil itself is a good size making it last a long time. The colour pay-off is really good and it can give you the natural brow or a bold one. I find it a bit hard to blend so I would try to use it in little strikes in order to create a fake brow hair. It has a good lasting power and comes with a spoolie that's a must!
Palettes are always my favourites! This one has a bunch of eyeshadows with a 2 pound coin size! The pigmentation is good and the colours go well together for day or night looks as you wish! One thing I noticed is they are really good on blending so an easy option for a smoky eye. In this palette the shades are all shimmery but not glittery at all making them good for a daily basis.

I created an eye look using the palette and the brow pencil to fill in my brows.

Overall the packaging feels cheap but you get what you pay for. The products themselves are good quality and can be a good option for beginners to try new things and see what looks best on them. For non beginners it can also be a good choice, Born Pretty Store has a lot of things to try on the makeup department so why don't you take a look?
Born Pretty were kind enough to send me a cupoun code for you to use!! Go to their website and enjoy :)
